Outside Wilmington
Thinking about Wilmington as another hurricane bears down. This city has survived many in it's long existence and more way after we're gone. I love the city. It doesn't seem like it belongs there. Magical, charming, sleepy and kicking even Hollywood has called it home. Outside a few miles is a man who repurposes boats and fiber glass things into giant, whimsical creatures, animals and symbols of America's forgotten roadside attractions. I was curious.
